What the number means
Each comparable competition gives the dog an event rating. A rating around 1.00 is neutral. A higher value means a stronger performance in that competition context; a lower value means a weaker one.

How one event is rated
The sporting result is the largest part. Placement also matters because dogs at the same competition face the same track, surface, course and conditions.

Each organization keeps its own table, and Canine Athletics is rated separately per discipline. Different rule sets are not mixed into one ranking.

Performance Rating
Performance Rating is the stable view. It uses up to the dog’s eight latest valid competition ratings and gives them equal weight. Old results do not expire simply because a sport has a quiet season.
A dog needs at least three competitions in the selected organization and context to enter the Performance ranking. With fewer results, no provisional table is shown.

Form Rating
Form Rating answers a different question: How is the dog performing now? It uses the dog’s three latest qualifying competitions from the last 12 months. The newest result carries the most weight.

If no dogs have three qualifying competitions during the last year, Form Rating is shown as inactive. Performance Rating remains available for dogs with enough recorded competitions.
How each sport is compared
Weight Pull: P4P is the main performance value. Current weight classes can also be filtered.
Canine Athletics: each discipline and organization has its own ranking. Iron Paw can compare result to dog height, while EU Cup uses the event’s official discipline points.
Rat Games: dogs are compared inside the same game and comparable class, where a lower time is better.
Does Rating 1.0 replace official points or results?
No. It is an additional Canine Scorebook view. The stored competition result, official points, titles and organization rules remain unchanged.
Why are organizations shown in separate tables?
Organizations can use different competition rules. Separate tables keep every rating inside a fair and comparable rule context.
Why can Form Rating be inactive?
Form needs three competitions within 12 months. Showing no form ranking is more honest than calling an old result current form.
